My questions...your answers
How many did you want?
Published on July 17, 2006 By Question of the Day In Parenting
I always thougth when I was young that I would have three children. I don't have any - can't have any. Sometimes it makes me sad but mostly I'm OK with it. It makes my life much more simple and flexible than many of my friends who do have children.

So my questions to you are:
1. How many did you think you want?
2. How many did you have?
3. How old were you when they were born?

I am really sorry for you. I have friends who decided not to have any. But to be deprived is a real sadness. And I am sorry. I hope you can adopt. They are what life is about.

Dr. Guy, no need to feel sorry for me. As I wrote most of the time I'm fine with it and my husband and I won't be adopting. It's just the way we figure our lives are meant to be. I like being able to pick my opportunities with children. I love to do career days at local elementary schools and I also have some neighborhood children who I frequently spend time with.
