My questions...your answers
How fast are you?

I've read that the key to increasing your keyboarding speed is to type words not letters. I'm working on it but it's hard. It seems like instead of reversing a few letters I type a completely wrong word, which I think is worse.

I took a test here Link

Here are my results:

Test Name: Strategic Alliances with Competitors
Gross Speed 68 WPM
Errors 30 words
Net speed 58 wpm

How about you?

Test: Strategic Alliances
Gross WPM: 94
Errors: 11 words
Net: 87 wpm
Accuracy: 96 -- I think

Best ways to increase speed: 1. lots of practice! 2. mastery of the language and excellent spelling. If you're a good speller, you SEE and TYPE a word as a word, without thinking about the sequence of letters that comprise it. If you struggle with spelling, you will naturally be more focused on a stringing together the right letters. Make sense?
